TAKE A LESSON

We offer two different types of lessons for beginner paddlers: a 90 minute Intro Lesson and Tour as well as a Level II Paddler course, which includes three separate private coaching sessions. Which one you choose is dependent upon your goals and timing.
Are you visiting for a short time on vacation?
The Intro Lesson + Tour would be a great way to get started on a board and explore a beautiful Rhode Island waterway in the process.

Do you have some experience with stand up paddleboarding but would like to advance to the next level of paddling?
The Level II Paddler course will give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become a better and safer paddler so you can feel secure going out on your own.

Never tried stand up paddleboarding (SUP) before and not sure if you'll like it?
The Intro Lesson + Tour is a great way to get some exposure to the sport without investing a lot of time and money before you decide if it's for you.

Would you like to be able to participate in our community events but aren't quite confident enough yet?

Since we require at least intermediate paddling skills to join in on community events (we need everyone to be able to keep up with the group), the Level II Paddler course will equip you with the skills you need to become an active member of the Water Wanderers Community.
